Life Profile

I was born on the 7th of November, few decades ago to the family of Gani & Nike Onajobi  and christened Onajobi, Abidemi Samuel Olasunkanmi .

In the neigbourhood I grew up (itun Imosan, Ilisan Remo), I was known as "Abidemi Oga Onopa" meaning "Bidemi, the Police boss". This was due to my love for and pride of The Nigerian Police and an ambition to be enlisted. However, as I grew up, I came to see corruption and indiscipline in the force which made it unattractive to me and led to a change of dream.

I started my educational pursuit at Wesley Primary School, Ilisan in 1983. By the year 1988, I moved to Federal Government College Staff Primary School, Odogbolu where I obtained my First School Leaving Certificate.

I had my secondary education at Remo Secondary School (RSS), Sagamu from 1990 to 1995. With my performance at the Senior School Certificate Exam and Joint Admission Matriculation Board Exam, I proceeded to the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, where I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. I served my country as a Youth Corper in the Branch Operations department of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Lagos after which I joined BMC Consultants Limited as a pioneer staff in January 2004. I left BMC to join Oando Plc and had brief stint with the Corporate Finance Group of Phillips Consulting Limited before joining First City Monument Bank Plc (SME Banking Group).

A Chartered Accountant and Associate member of the Nigerian Institute of Management, my dream is to be an accomplished Business manager/consultant of repute and international acclaim.

I am married to Mrs. Adenike Ifedolapo Onajobi (Nee Bucknor).
